Back from the hols.

Delighted to say I was only up .1 after the hols in England.  Thank you to everyone over there for keeping me on track.  IT must have been all the walking we did.  Had a lovely time and did enjoy a fish and chips and a Gregs cream bun so all is good.

Back to normal now.  Fruit galore, SW recipes - spag bol, chilli, sticky chicken.  Yum.

Delighted the weight is still going down, slowly but surely.  Damo is keeping me motivated as it is coming off him quicker!!!  Raging.  He has to put another hole in his belt to tighten it.  Delighted for him, he will not be making much of a splash in the pool on our hols.

Anyway, thanks for sponsoring if you have.  Thank you for the words of encouragement.

See ya!

My Burf-day

So here it is another year older and don't feel any different thank god.  Young at heart.

Had a great day de-cluttering the house (always makes me feel good) in prep for the estate agent next week.  Please god let this be the year we get to make a fresh start in a new house.  :-) Fingers crossed.

Bless Charlie and Jake, they have a viral infection.  Charlie is quite sick with it but battled on through the day so we managed to play ball and do a little glue art (his favourite) Jake just climbed everywhere. Lol. He really is a monkey.

Didn't even have cake today, just a curly wurly, so i'm expecting a nice weightloss on Mondays weigh in.  Again fingers crossed.

You can still donate, seriously a pound/euro is enough - every little helps.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes xx

The day after the day before...

So tomo is my BD and I turn 36, that means I am closer to 40 than I am 30.  That's scary!

Damo bought me tickets to see Dawn French in the Olympia last night, I just loved it.  For a treat afterwards we went to Zaytoon for a delicious chicken shish, not feeling a bit guilty as I was straight back onto the healthy eating today.  Happy days, life goes on.

So what will my 36th year bring me? More time with the family? Yes. The sale of my house? Hopefully.  A new job? Possibly. Another baby? Not until 2016. A year closer to our dream Florida holiday? Zippa-dee-doo-dah hell yeh!

Dawn French made me think about a few things last night, I think I nearly cried as much as I did laugh.  Very moving, and at only 20 years older than me she has achieved so much.  Her section on adoption was inspiring and made me think of some very special people (Umple Jims and Auntie Sieve).  My birthday wish tomo goes to you two (I can't wait to see your smiles when you meet your babies for the first time)

On top of my wonderful birthday treat, I was blown away again today by such a magnificent gesture. My cousin Ian (who I have not seen in too long!) made a donation of a whopping amount, my jaw actually hit the table.  His message made it even more special:

Go for it Sarah and Damo, the charities are worthy causes but your long and healthy life with your boys is priceless!

So, here's to another year of hard work and play AND spending time with my fab boys!  I just love them so much.
